It is with deep appreciation that I take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers, staff and donors who have been involved with the creation of this website. I would especially like to thank SBC and its employees who had the vision to see the importance and value of this site and provided the funds that were required for its creation.
As with all of our programs, we have strived to take advantage of the latest technology to provide an innovative, interesting and fun venue to introduce and teach our children the important life skills of understanding, respect, compassion and most important, acceptance of others with perceived or actual differences. We, as parents, grandparents, teachers, youth leaders and caring adults, have a responsibility and an opportunity to help teach our children to positively interact with everyone in our community. Our success in this effort will be realized in making our communities a better place to live and work.
Today's children are the community and business leaders of tomorrow. They need to have the same guidance that many of us enjoyed growing up; however, today's children face many new and difficult challenges that we did not have to deal with during our youth. This website, as well as our other programs, are tools to be used to help our children realize that what they say and how they act will have either a positive or negative impact on those around them. The strategies learned from our programs will help make our common goal a reality.
I hope you take the time to learn about the Zink the Zebra Foundation, Inc., as I am confident you will enjoy great satisfaction from participating in our programs.
With many thanks,
